• Vibration Analysis
  • RST specialists gather vibration data on-site with extremely sensitive equipment, then digitally analyze the data and prepare a detailed report for the customer. This report sites what machinery appears to either be in failure stages, or will most likely move into those stages in the near future. Indicated in the report are severity levels, which tell the customer how severe their problem is, and give a good timeline for the amount of time that they have remaining to fix this machinery before it fails on them. Note that these severity levels are not merely based on vibration levels, but instead the levels of severity are custom-made for each machine; insuring that your equipment receives and equal and personal amount of attention from our experts.

  • Analyzation of data can be performed on the fly on-site for a quick diagnosis of equipment problems and solutions to those problems.
• Infrared Thermography
  • Using state-of-the-art thermographic cameras and other imaging equipment, our analyists will identify so called "hot spots" in your equipment as possible points of failure. After identifying these, a well-detailed report will also be assembled, revealing all findings that were discovered.
• Oil Analysis
  • Our RST specialists will collect an oil sample from your equipment, and analyze it for bits of metal and other related items. After performing this task, they will prepare a detailed report of their findings, as well as what precautions to take and repairs to make.
• Motor Current Signature Analysis
  • Our specialists use a current probe to look at your equipment's rotor. After viewing the resulting spectral graphs, they can determine defects such as rotor bar cracks, problems with high resistance joints, broken rotor bar cracks, and end rings. This is monitored by the dB level that is exhibited in the spectral analysis.

• Dynamic Balancing
  • Our specialists can perform in-house or on-site balancing of your equipment, using state-of-the-art equipment by such vendors as IRD© and CSI©. Using these tools, they can achieve extremely precise accuracy, so that your equipment will run at maximum efficiency, or close to it.
• Precision Laser Alignment
  • Using the most precise tool available for alignment jobs, a laser beam, our specialists can literally align your equipment within millimeter increments. Needless to say, this proves to tune your equipment to extremely high levels of efficiency.
• Acceptance Criteria
  • When you place new equipment in your facility, we can test it's vibration levels, as well as other various criteria, to assure that it is being placed into your facility's working environment at optimum effeciency to start.
• Root Cause Failure Analysis
  • if your equipment appears to be failing at a consistent rate, our specialists can examine the equipment and its working environment to discover the cause of the repetitive failures that are costing you and your facility precious time and money.

• Classroom Instruction
  • Our specialists can conduct classes for you and your staff at our facility, educating you on topics ranging from better understanding the concepts of vibration analysis, to monitoring your own equipment in-house.
• On-Site Classes
  • We can also conduct our educational classes mentioned above at your facility, therefore catering better to your needs if so desired.
• Non-Vendor Specific Training
  • We conduct training conceptually, using demonstrations on multiple equipment platforms, so that we do not limit your knowledge on the subject to a specific product line of instruments needed to complete your jobs.
